Author Guidelines
Guidelines and editorial policies for submitting your research to Shodh Sanskriti Journal.
Scope and Focus
Shodhsanskriti welcomes original research contributions in the fields of cultural studies, heritage preservation, social sciences, humanities, and multidisciplinary research. We encourage submissions that explore traditional knowledge systems, contemporary cultural practices, and innovative methodologies in cultural research.
Submission Requirements
Manuscript Preparation
- Length: Articles should be between 3,000-8,000 words, including references
- Format: Microsoft Word (.docx)
- Font: Times New Roman, 12-point, double-spaced; For Hindi, Kokila, 14 Point, 1.5 Spaced
- Margins: 1-inch margins on all sides
- Page numbering: Continuous throughout the manuscript
Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should follow this order:
- Title Page: Title, author(s) name(s), affiliations, corresponding author contact details
- Abstract: 150-250 words summarizing objectives, methodology, key findings, and conclusions
- Keywords: 4-6 keywords for indexing purposes
- Main Text: Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results/Analysis, Discussion, Conclusion
- Acknowledgments: Brief recognition of funding sources and contributors
- References: Following APA 7th edition style
- Appendices: If applicable
Citations and References
- Use APA 7th edition citation style consistently
- Minimum 20 references for research articles
- Include DOI when available
- Ensure all cited works are accessible and verifiable
Figures and Tables
- High-resolution images (minimum 300 DPI)
- Clear, descriptive captions
- Numbered consecutively
- Referenced appropriately in text
- Submit figures as separate files (.jpg, .png, .tiff)
Types of Submissions
- Research Articles: Original empirical studies (3,000-8,000 words)
- Review Articles: Comprehensive literature reviews (4,000-10,000 words)
- Case Studies: Detailed analysis of specific cultural phenomena (2,000-5,000 words)
- Book Reviews: Critical reviews of recent publications (800-1,500 words)
- Short Communications: Preliminary findings or methodological notes (1,000-2,500 words)
Submission Process
- Submit manuscripts through our online submission system
- Include a cover letter stating the significance and originality of the work
- Provide complete contact information for all authors
- Declare any conflicts of interest
- Confirm that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere
